Rangers are guaranteed a place in the Champions League group stage for 2010/11, as long as the winners of this year's competition qualify via their domestic league. In that scenario Rangers will take the place reserved for the *title holder.

It means that the Premier League side won 5-1 on aggregate and that the Bhoys will have to settle for a place in the Europa League this season.

His reference was to the spending power that Wenger possesses as Arsenal manager, against the money at the disposal of Celtic’s new coach, Tony Mowbray.
