McCourt backs McGinn to fulfill his potential at Celtic

Paddy McCourt believes that fellow countryman Niall McGinn has what it takes to go on and become a future Celtic star.
With 11 appearance for Celtic and six caps for Northern Ireland since joining the hoops McCourt speaking to the to the Derry Journal said
"Niall has been a revelation since he came over...... when I see Niall now compared to when I first saw him at Derry, I see the potential to go on to be a £5m/£6m player.

"The athleticism he has got is incredible"

McCourts fightback to get a first team place took a setback.A scan on Monday revealed that McCourt is suffering from fluid behind the knee which will keep him out of action for a week to 10 days.

He remains positive for the team this year

"It has not gone as well as everyone associated with the club would have hoped this year but the manager, staff and players need to keep fighting. No-one here will be giving up.

"It was a blow for the manager and the players to lose at Kilmarnock on Tuesday night.

"But there is no question of anyone throwing in the towel. We'll fight to the end, no matter what the points difference is.
