A technical blunder wrecked Setanta's TV second half coverage of Celtic's opening SPL clash against Saint Mirren. Almost ten minutes of the coverage of the game was lost when the Setanta pictures repeatedly flickered, faded, then flashed back again.
As if it wasn't bad enough losing the pictures Rob McLean’s commentary also disappeared.

A spokesman for Setanta said: “We encountered a major problem with a satellite truck which was outwith our control.

“We apologise to all our subscribers because it spoiled their enjoyment of the game.

“It was a problem that took time to rectify and we did so as quickly as was humanly possible.”

Let's hope they can get their act together for Sunday's live broadcast from Tannadice as Dundee United host the Hoops.
