Celtic win at Inverness
Inverness CT 1 - Celtic 2 (SPL, October 18, 2008) After a lacklustre and goalless first half, Scott Brown scored his first league goal since December to put Celtic ahead with a side-footed shot in the 48th minute. Celtic then opened up a two goal cushion when Glenn Loovens rose high at the back post to head home a cross by Barry Robson.

Meanwhile the injuries mount for Celtic ahead of their trip to Old Trafford in the Champions League on Tuesday. Gary Caldwell required stitches to treat an ankle injury in the Highlands and Marc Crosas was substituted late on with a hamstring problem.
The Hoops are already without Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Andreas Hinkel .
