Celtic host Sunderland in glamour friendly

Sunderland announced details of a glamour pre-season friendly match against Celtic. The game will take place on Saturday, August 1 (kick-off time to be confirmed) Steve Bruce' Black Cats fought a hard relegation battle last season, 16th in the table and two points out of the relegation zone. The team affectionately nicknamed Sund-Ireland due to the Irish contingent at the Stadium of Light include Six County International striker David Healey who will be fired up if playing to get a goal against Boruc. Sunderland are to play hearts the following week as part of their pre season preparation,the match will be played on Saturday the 8th August at Tynecastle.
