Brisbane Roar a stern test for Celtic

Celtic's July 12 clash against Brisbane Roar has taken on extra significance after their failure to win the Scottish Premier League title and Gordon Strachan's subsequent resignation. Finishing second in the league Celtic now have to battle it out in UEFA Champions League qualifiers in late July. The Hoops' battle with the Roar for the Translink Cup will therefore have added spice, as the match seems certain to be an important part of Celtic's Champions League preparations. The Suncorp Stadium showdown will also be one of Celtic's first under a new manager after Strachan's decision to quit. Tickets for the Roar's clash against Celtic will be on sale from June 2.
