Celtic have sacked Tony Mowbray
Submitted by hooperman on Thu, 03/25/2010 - 19:56The Celtic board informed Mowbray this afternoon after a series of disastrous results over a 9 month period that has left Celtic out of every competition, apart from the Scottish cup.
The former centre-back's position at Parkhead had become untenable after a humiliating 4-0 defeat to St Mirren on Wednesday night.

guaranteed to be the club’s captain next season. The former West Brom
boss is clearly intent on freshening things up at Celtic Park and this
could include changing the skipper.
Mowbray says that no decision has been made yet, but that he will
