Kenyan charity boost by Celtic Fans
Submitted by hooperman on Fri, 08/20/2010 - 16:41Thanks to the generosity of Celtic football fans, children in a remote area of Kenya are being educated, some for the first time.
The football club worked with Oxfam Scotland to raise awareness of poverty in the lead-up to the World Cup in South Africa during the summer.
Fans could donate through Oxfam or buy ribbons at the Celtic v Kilmarnock game on 27 March.
Money raised has gone towards the cost of setting-up ten mobile schools and training ten teachers.
Hartson: Give Lennon time and he will be a success

Former Celtic striker John Hartson played alongside Lennon at the Celtic Park and, while on a flying visit to Belfast, he told Thomas Kane from the BBC Newsline that he is backing the former Northern Ireland international for more success in Scotand.
Hartson chats about his playing days, his battle with cancer, and his plans for the future.
