The less said about Celtic’s defeat to Aberdeen yesterday the better. The Bhoys conceded four shocking goals to crash to their first Scottish Premier League loss of 2009.

With the January transfer window now well and truly open, there is bound to be a lot of speculation regarding some of Celtic’s best players. Midfielder Scott Brown is one of the first to be linked with a move away, as a number of English clubs are apparently keen on signing him.

After Rangers recorded a victory over Hibernian yesterday to reduce to gap between them and Celtic to just one point – the pressure was on Gordon Strachan’s men to deliver this afternoon.

I suppose it had to come to an end some time didn’t it? Yesterday, saw Celtic crash to an unexpected defeat at Hibernian to end their run of 12 Scottish Premier League wins in succession.
